About Alisa
Alisa began her foray into jewelry making when she was in high school. There were some beads and Fimo clay. Eventually she wanted to make her jewelry dreams legit and went to the University of Washington's Metals Department. After she graduated with her BFA in 2003, she moved to Chicago to set up her studio. Alisa still designs all her jewelry on Chicago's north side. While her aesthetic has changed over the years, the one constant is her sense of design and proportions. Alisa designs thoughtful and thought provoking jewelry as well as some more fashion forward work. Alisa also teaches at Lill Street Art Center in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. In late 2013, Alisa took a new leap of faith and welcomed a baby girl into her life. Look for a brand new take on mother's jewelry coming soon!
